After rocking as a guitarist in Rock On, Arjun Rampal is ready to take on the role of a shrewd politician in Prakash Jha's Rajniti. The actor is currently in Bhopal, closely watching politicians campaigning for a seat in the Lok Sabha. We spoke with Arjun Rampal about his role and how he misses his hair.

"The role I'm playing in Rajniti is very challenging and interesting. I play the role of a politician, who is very influential in North Indian states such as Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. The film is being shot in Bhopal."

The Om Shanti Om villain also said that he spent a lot of time researching his character. He said, "Prakashji told me to read books and articles on politicians to prepare for the role. I read several of these books at the library at the Bhopal University. I really can't take the name of the politician as I'm not allowed to speak about him right now."

Arjun Rampal's long tresses that have become a trademark of sorts for the actor will part ways with him.

After speculations, it is finally revealed that Priyanka Chopra has been signed to play the lead again opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Farhan Akhtar's Don 2. Not just Priyanka, even Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani have been signed on to play key roles in the film.

We contacted producer Ritesh Sidhwani, who confirmed the news. He said, "Yes Priyanka has been signed opposite Shah Rukh in Don 2. It is a sequel obviously and when we locked the story and the screenplay, we knew that we needed Priyanka for the film. Similarly, we have also signed on Boman Irani and Arjun Rampal."
