We did tell you that Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Luke Kenny form the Magik band in the film Rock On, and that they intend to have live shows and concerts in various cities of India.

Well, there’s more news. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani is taking this quartet to London and urging it to perform live at Leicester Square.

Ritesh tells us from London, “Doing a concert here in London fits in so well with the spirit of the film. In summer, you have a lot of musicians performing at Leicester Square. So, I thought why not our guys, and our band from the film? So they’ll perform for a live audience and their fans, who can then go to the theatre and attend the premiere, and watch the movie.”

Actors Arjun Rampal, Udita Goswami and Sagarika Ghatge grooved on Mika's voice in an item song shoot for their forthcoming film FOX recently. With music by Monty Sharma the item song titled "Sexy Kudiye" has been sung by Mika and picturised on Arjun Rampal, Udita Goswami and Sagarika. Mika too appears for a short sequence in the song.

Directed by Deepak Tijori FOX, A Zee Entertainment Enterprises production in association with Rohit Kumar Productions and Tijori Enterprises is a thriller. It stars Sunny Deol, Arjun Rampal, Udita Goswami, Sagarika Ghatge and Vipul Gupta.

His films may not set the box office registers on fire, but actor turned director Deepak Tijori is never short of work. Currently the director is shooting in Mumbai's Madh Island for his fifth film, Fox for Zee Motion Pictures.

Arjun Rampal, Udita Goswami and Mika form the lead in this thriller. Sunny Deol is also an integral part in the film. Tijori will head for Goa where he will finish his major portions of shooting. Sunny Deol, who is shooting in brazil, will be joining him there to start his shooting for his portions of the film.

Big B and Preity Zinta may have embarked on their UNFORGETTABLES tour but when they are back in a few weeks from now, they would be holding the center stage once again. This time it would be for the big screen as their art-house film THE LAST LEAR has finally closed on a release date for itself. A Planman Motion Pictures' production, THE LAST LEAR has now been confirmed for 12th September.

Based on Utpal Dutt's play 'Aajker Shahjahan', THE LAST LEAR is a film in the English language and is directed by Rituparno Ghosh whose Bengali film KHELA released in the week gone by). Apart from Big B and Preity Zinta, the film also stars Arjun Rampal in a key role (who goes offbeat for the second time after MOKSHA). Others in the starcast are Shefali Chhaya, Divya Dutta, Jishu Sengupta and Prosenjit.

After the trailer of Abhishek Kapoor's directorial venture ROCK ON starring Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli, Sahana Goswami and Luke Kenny in leads was shown with SARKAR RAJ screenings last week, the film is gaining an important eye from trade circles.

According to the latest buzz there have been a lot of distributors and business houses whose interest in the film has zoomed. It is heard that the makers Excel Entertainment have received various new offers for all rights of the film with the offered figure going as high as 45 crores. For a film with relatively new faces (apart from Arjun Rampal) and DIL CHAHTA HAI fame director Farhan Akhtar making his 'debut' as an 'actor', it's a nice sign for everyone associated with the film.

After speculations, it is finally revealed that Priyanka Chopra has been signed to play the lead again opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Farhan Akhtar's Don 2. Not just Priyanka, even Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani have been signed on to play key roles in the film.

We contacted producer Ritesh Sidhwani, who confirmed the news. He said, "Yes Priyanka has been signed opposite Shah Rukh in Don 2. It is a sequel obviously and when we locked the story and the screenplay, we knew that we needed Priyanka for the film. Similarly, we have also signed on Boman Irani and Arjun Rampal."
