Actor Arjun Rampal is on cloud nine about his work being appreciated in the industry after so long post Om Shanti Om and Rock On. He’s joyful about being given the best supporting actor award at the 54th Idea Filmfare Awards.

But then something's troubling him too. That's about not mentioning the name of that great personality who he thinks has been his big inspiration in life in his acceptance speech. And the man whom he adores a lot and calls the motivation in life is Bollywood’s megastar, Amitabh Bachchan. Arjun Rampal later sent an apology SMS to Big B which touched him a lot.

Amitabh decided to write about it on his blog the day after the awards show: "Later in the night (after the ceremony) he (Arjun) sends me a SMS saying how grateful he was to have me as an inspiration in his life and how sorry he was that he could not name me in his speech because he was overwhelmed by the moment. I am deeply touched."

He also wrote: "He has really roughed it out in the industry and laboured hard. I advise him never ever to forget the moment that brought on that emotion – that shall and should be his motivation for the rest of his career, I SMSed back."
